Southern League Manager of the Year Award : ウィキペディア英語版 | Southern League Manager of the Year Award
The Southern League Manager of the Year Award (MOTY) is an annual award given to the best manager in minor league baseball's Southern League. In 1972, Joe Sparks won the first ever Southern League MOTY Award. The only managers with more than one award are Andy Green and John Shoemaker, each with two wins. Seven managers from the Jacksonville Suns/Expos have been selected for the MOTY Award, more than any other teams in the league, followed by the Savannah/Greenville/Mississippi Braves and Orlando Twins/Sun Rays/Cubs/Montgomery Biscuits (6); the Birmingham Barons and Huntsville Stars/Biloxi Shuckers (5); the Knoxville Sox/Blue Jays/Tennessee Smokies, and Mobile BayBears (4); the Chattanooga Lookouts and Columbus Astros (3); the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (2); and the Montgomery Rebels and Nashville Sounds (1). Six managers each from the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations have won the MOTY Award, more than any others, followed by the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins organizations (4); the Arizona Diamondbacks, Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, Montreal Expos, and Oakland Athletics organizations (3); the Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and Los Angeles Dodgers, organizations (2); and the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Tampa Bay Rays, and Toronto Blue Jays organizations (1). ==Key==
